The structure of the roof was left untouched in this case so a triangular shape was produced. Where the roof allows this type of conversion it is the lowest cost way of converting your loft.

The traditional triangular shape is often known as an attic conversion.

The portable electric radiator in the foreground is the only heating required. All attic conversions come fully insulated and obtain most of the heat required from the roof (when the sun is out) or from heat rising from the downstairs rooms.
